Can you tell which kids were good in church and which ones just lived through a "mama bear" tongue lickin' and time-out for irreverence in Sacrament meeting?
Besides that, the day was great. We always have fish and honey and bread for Easter to celebrate Christ eating with his apostles, post-resurrection.
We started with Honeycomb cereal for breakfast.
Dinner was swordfish, honey, french bread, mediterranean noodles, and grape juice.
That is a neat tradition. We need to figure something out beyond candy.
ReplyDeleteNow I understand that picture! When you sent it out I meant to reply and ask what was up with the boys being so cranky. Nice to know someone else's kids are enduring the same torture mine are. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I totally understand that look! We have what we call the 'reverent chair'. That's where they spend time at home if they haven't acted appropriately at church. We've told the boys they will the Lord His time, it's up to them whether they choose to give it to him at church or additional, at home.
ReplyDeleteI really like your Easter food tradition. I might start incorporating that....thanks!
That is hilarious! I love the picture and I am a mama bear sometimes too! We also had fish and honey and pilaf for dinner for easter - thanks for the idea long ago. Missed you at Easter and Laird's bithday this week - I miss you at holidays even more than I miss my family!
